I click the launch the game it brings up the play button of which if you click it it is supposed to go to the log in screen but I can't even get that far as soon as i click the play button the screen just closes and nothing happens. I've re-downloaded the client and the same problem occurs. Can anyone tell me at least what is wrong so I have some sort of idea how to fix it?

This has also been happening to me since yesterday. When I re installed the game and started the client it says "unable to update, check the logs for details" and I can't play the game. Then I exit the client and restart. When I start the client once again it lets me hit the play button but as soon as I do, the window disappears and nothing happens.
