I have played eve since her old stun days, and I still play her now in mid and jungle. I really think this eve nerf is a mistake, and here is why: it does not suit her role. Eve players are using the ult as an execute because she is an assasin, and the ult is her only cc. If eve initiates a team fight, you are doing something wrong. A good eve player comes in after the start of the fight to backdoor the dps. lowering the cast range means that to get the most out of her ult, she has to facecheck the entire enemy team and initiate with it. Of course I am exaggerating somewhat, and I am sure this has been considered, but the simple fact is eve is not op. She is highly counterable, difficult to master, and relies on her ult for burst damage. This new nerf to eve confuses her role in a team fight. However, all of that will not necessarily make her up. Rather, the extended cd of her ult is what will really hurt eve players. After a few months, the non mains will start to ditch eve in favor of, well, dianna is back, and eve will again appear on the tables. Of course, this is all my own opinion and conclusions, if you have your own please post below. I only ask that if you disagree, you should explain why.
