Why is Darius' ult CD so low?

How about a 30 min cooldown?

I agree they should increase the cooldown on it.

It confuses me kind of like Diana's ult.
They give you a refresh mechanic, but if you miss that refresh it's okay because it's on a low cooldown anyways

They just hate the idea of any skill being able to be used "wrong", so they gave it a normal cooldown so that the refresh mechanic would just be a bonus.

It's as stupid as it sounds but hey, Darius is the epitome of casual.

What you should ask is: Why does Jarvan who has average damage and pitiful utility combined with mana problems has such a high cooldown.

To make up for the fact that he has no escapes, unlike other champs with execution ults such as Garen and Riven. Since he can't run away as often (flash cd and no other escapes), they allow him to fight off assaults more often using his ult.

I thought this was easily understandable, but I guess this is GD after all.

Implying he needs an escape. He'll just 1v2 you and your jungler and walk away with a double kill...

Yet Riven and Garen both saw ult nerfs so they wouldn't always have it up when returning to lane.

Darius ****ing up his ult and not landing a kill with it should follow suit, while if he does get the killing blow it's irrelevant.

Riven 4 escapes
Garen 1 escape plus extra armor and MR
Stop crying about Darius, he is in the range of balanced to needing a buff soon.

i wouldnt even go that far. his base damage is pretty strong with the 50% bonus on his q, his bleed passive and inbuilt armor pen. a lot of tanky items have coodown reduction, which increases his damage too.
