After many family discussions with my son's after playing a game last night wherein a Level 9 Darius was able reconnect and pwn in the lane/ Team fights due to his abilities is rather OP. Perhaps he requires a hard look for the next patch, or if you could give me the breakdown of your reasoning behind his seemingly OP skill set I would appreciate it.

Darius is designed to be an excellent laner. He is a bully, and if you stay in the range of his harass, he will win. However, you need to understand that Darius has no escapes. He's an all-in-or-die champion. That's his huge flaw. Range is also a great counter to him. Don't feed him, as his early-mid game items don't cost very much and he will be rather powerful in lane.

He's not OP, but he does need a nerf. The best way to handle Darius is with some good CC and ganks from the jungler to shut him down early. Try to avoid coming into his pull range or he'll EWQ autoattack R and walk away. Just learn to farm from a distance, and let him push the lane. His DOT stacks will end up pushing the lane to your turret and all you have to do is farm and avoid his pull.

Well yorick is decreasing in price pick him up and bully back and his ult will help if you do managed to get grabbed by the dunkmaster

I still don't understand why he isn't nerfed

He does insane damage
He can farm easily
He has a slow
Good at all points in game
Has a pull
Etc....

Darius isnt OP, he's just kinda cheap and takes advantage of people who aren't too good at the game. When darius is doing bad, you won't know unless you know the game well. Darius can get 4 doubles and a couple of triples and still be doing horrible just based off the nature of the match

Nah, Darius is pretty OP.

The fact there is some counter play doesn't change that.

What makes him super broken is the fact that his whole kit's offensive power is in 2 skills (Q and R). That leads to a leblanc effect where you just do crazy amounts of damage in lane because you just max the one skill that matters.

I honestly wish they'd take damage away from Darius' Q and give it to W or E.

Make which skill to level first an actual choice....not a no-brainer like it is now.

Darius isn't OP on the whole. But his Q is. Anyone who's eaten one recognizes that...

the pull is still broken, its longer than the animation and the delay on if you are in its animation range or not is also broke
