Just had a case clear, I voted punish, which it strongly deserved, community agreement was strong majority, outcome was pardon?

I have seen a couple threads like this before, but don't remember the answer and cant find one in the recent threads. Is this a bug? A riot override? display error?

It looks like the guys at riot that review cases overturned the decision, or for some strange reason felt no punish was needed, or its just some display bug.

Had two cases like this yesterday, clearly toxic play community agreed to punish yet the outcome is no punishment.

Either a bug or decision overturned by Riot employee.

I've seen this as well. Only thing I can surmise is that the player received a punishment verdict without an actual punishment distributed. I would like an explanation as to why from Riot. I personally want to know what justified a non-punishment i.e. was this a pro-player alt or pro-player, a friend of a Riot employee, or someone who owns part of Riot etc.. I believe that an explanation for this type of treatment of a guilty account is warranted.

That seems like a lot of cases to all be permabans.

I think I remember Lyte mentioning something about this earlier. I can't find the thread where he said it, but if I remember correctly then this was an accidental case where someone was put on the tribunal and had two different cards. Essentially, he wasn't put up on the Tribunal just because of those five games, and he's already been punished by another card at around the same time. Or it could be a duplicate case.
