I believe I didn't "deserve" this ban in general, but since I know how draconian the rules of LoL are, I did.
I think the problem is that you're looking for a precise set of rules, and it seems you think if you're one inch on the "good" side of the line, you should be clear. That is not how it works. "What is my threshold to not get banned?" is fundamentally not a positive attitude. If you keep trying to find the threshold, there's a good chance you'll keep ending up in a gray area.

What I mean by gray area: in these cases, when I was reading through them, I was thinking "This person is either naturally very passive-aggressive, or trying to rile up his team while skirting the letter of the rules." Now, you may argue that you weren't trying to do that on purpose - and maybe that's true! The people who reviewed your case apparently thought it was intentional.

In my personal opinion, everything you just said is completely irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is the law laid down by Riot. At present time, I believe that a violation of the established guidelines from Riot leads to a ban, which increases to a perma-ban. This is what matters and why I am attempting to seek guidance.

There is no such thing as a "grey area", there are rules, and the rules must be followed.
I violated the rules and accept my ban 100%, I personally, believe (most of) the rules are incredibly draconian, but I'm just a guy...
Though I called a guy a jackhole in game 2. GG. I have no excuse for that kind of behavior.

If my response was "No, YOU'RE a @#*$&#@%" then I would agree with you.

I don't question the ruling of the tribunal, I accept my ban 100%, but I would like to know how close I am to perma ban and what I can do to avoid it besides perma-ignore teammates.
I think you misread what I wrote. My personal opinion is that I agree with you. But my personal opinion isn't the one that matters. It is currently considered negative. So whether YOU think its against the code or not doesn't matter. The Tribunal thinks it is.

Now separately, yes, if you feel you cannot speak in a non-negative manner, go ahead, and just ignore everyone and ping only. But there are plenty of people who are capable of finding a gray area between where you stand and not speaking at all.

I see, so what your really saying is.
A bunch of people have given you their opinions on what is crossing the line.
You want Wookie to confirm these opinions to you.

Now, since the only situation where Wookie's personal opinion would actually matter is overturning a tribunal judgement, what you are looking for is the situation in which the Tribunal currently judges as punish but Wookie would judge as pardon.

Which...is an empty set.

You are 100% right.

As you said, yours and my feelings are not what matters.

I always follow the rules but that does not seem to be enough.

I keep stating what I want but I am being ignored.
I want to know how close I am to being perma-banned and what I can do to avoid it.

I don't want a pardon, the punishment was two weeks, there are only a couple of days until then. I wouldn't care if I had to wait a couple of months instead of a couple of days either. I would never ask for a "pardon", that's nonsensical and childish.

What I am interested in is avoiding a PERMANENT ban.
I want the advice of one of the people in charge of issuing them.
That is all.

Yesssss that is the way of the tribunal.

No but seriously, my true mistake is talking, what I will do in the future is just put everyone on my team on ignore.
Honestly, if that's what you need to do.....ok. I will say though, that's kind of sad. You can't watch what you say or say positive/constructive things.

It's not you talking that's the issue. It's what you are saying.

^ You do realize I was being sarcastic when I said I would use "INCREDIBLY profane language" right?

I never use profanity, ever.

Sometimes maybe portmanteau...

You need to realize that it's not Wookie's opinion that should really matter to you. It should be the opinion of the people in y.our games that you are playing with. They are your peers and are the ones that get you into the Tribunal.

Seeing as how I (and others in the forums) are trying to explain to you what to do. Maybe you should hear us out

Apparently, the majority of the tribunal agrees.

I would have liked some advice from the Riot guy who gives advice on this forum, but I think the optimal method is just never talk to anyone, ever.
Be serious, you was trying to make him mad. Tribunal judges aren't blind, we can tell when someone is baiting someone or subtle trolling as you did.

You can talk, just don't be a jerk about it.
