Would a hybrid concept hero that shifts it's AD to AP and visa versa be too complex for League? It could create an interesting champion... but it'd have to be noted that like 1.4 AP = 1 AD as far as value(not sure of actual value ratio).

I'm not talking an absolute clone, just that one trait. Possibly a form shifting ulti much like nidalee, jayce, and elise...

The rest of the kit would be up for grabs to experiment with.

(to avoid downvotes for mentioning DOTA... I'm not saying morphling is a great hero design and should be in League, or that DOTA is better/worse, or that complexity is bad/good. I just understand(and actually like) that League tends to be simpler and avoid excessive complexity)

Kayle used to have a passive that gave bonus AD based on AP and visa versa, which was an awesome passive that essentially allowed her to build and offensive route effectively. That type of passive could even be implemented here(at a lower ratio probably though).

AP is around than half the cost of AD, convert your AP to AD and forget as you play an amazing AD champ that has all of the utility of an AP build.
Also how would that work with percentage-based AP increases like the mastery or Rabadon's?

AP is too cheap for it to be fairly converted over---even if you apply a modifier so that it's not 1:1, you'll still be able to get insane utility while having scary auto-attack damage (think of all the AP+MR, AP+Armor, and AP+health items, not to mention the additional utility these items bring aside from their stats).

It should also be noted (so no one develops a misconception) that Morphling doesn't do this; he converts Agility (AS+AD) into Strength (Health) and visa versa (this only applies to his base stats as well; any agi or strength gained through items is not able to be converted).

Oh god no, Morphling during the International 2 was out of control. Only good counter to him is Tiny but he's pretty easy to counter with mana burn and silences. Yes his right click hurts but is easy to kite since his stun cooldown is so long.
Might feel like it would go AP items since it's cheaper and higher in numbers. Convert that into some AD and good stats.

I think the attack speed and health change would be missed too much since you would have to dedicate 2 skill slots for an AP to AD gain.

Actually if his ratios were based on Magic resist and Armour, the system would work much, much better. He wouldn't exactly be a carry but he could do alot more.
