I wasn't bashing Adobe Air because of the way it makes the client look, I'm bashing it because it has so many performance issues. Bottom line: it's cheap, low budget, and just can't adequately handle a game like League.

I do still remember what a turn down the client was when I first started playing, as we get used to it it's not really a problem anymore. But as part of the first impression for this game, the client was extremely lackluster. Every game I've played before lol had a smooth client, a smooth transition between menus and actual game, set aside the fact of the client being buggy and primitive, the whole "minimize then start a new window" thing was also primitive and seemed just cheap.
