Hey forum dudes. Sorry, this forum deal is totally new to me.

Anyway, my name's ZambiHugs, or Hug The Kitty for the summoner. And I have a plan.

I want to make life-sized Vi fists. Yeah yeah, I know it's probably been done, but it's one of the very first things I'll be building. I plan to make some other weapon or clothes from the game! Any suggestions for stuff would be nice.

But back to the fists: I don't know what to make them out of. I want something I can use that's easy to work with, but when it's finished I can use to punch folks. I was thinking some kind of Styrofoam covered in rubber cement? Help me out here, folks.

For what i'm guessing I think it would be a good idea to create a Vi fist similar to the hulk fist (clenched) since it'll make it a lot more durable then with movable parts, as for punching people if you got the ability to make polyester gloves that would be sweet since it would also be flexible and maintain its shape plus you could actually punch people with it =). As for Styrofoam with rubber cement i would be worried about it chipping. (I'm not a prop building master so take my advice with a grain of salt). I do have some cosplay friends who could give me a few more pointers (I'll update if I find out anything new)
