I understand that his potentially AoE stun is amazing, but I die with him very quickly all the time. :/ I need some tips and tricks on playing him in 3v3.

Ah, that is true. The rode to getting a witch cap is much easier now after the ingredient changed.

kennen is pretty bad, but i'd rush health + wooglets so he doesn't melt in team fights

Kennen is good champ, but he's just not 3v3 material. You have to give up the idea of using him there, the map is unbalanced and suited for bruisers and tanks.

Kennen can actually do phenomenal in threes. As long as you can time your abilities and land your stuns and able to get those stuns off when it matters he can shut a bruiser completely down.
