Surrendering is there for a reason, sure it is frustrating sometimes but it prevents a whole world of bad too. I generally only surrender when there is absolutely no hope of winning, like being down 9 towers to 1 or something. There are times when surrendering is a good thing. But early surrenders or the one that ThoughtfulWanderer described can be extremely annoying.
