Riot has stated in some what, that the free week is primarily for people new to the leauge that is why some champs we see sooo often like cho gath and some champions only a few times a year (krama and yes karma has been freen in the last 6 months becaues alwase make note of her) People who just make anaccount can only play the free week and with that in mind even 450 ip champs are good for free week also 450 champs tend to be easy to use so it makes perfect sence

Poppy is in a weird postion in that she is a 450 ip champ but also hard to play so riot puts her up less because she is not to noob friendly XD i love popy but she is hard to master

I actually REALLY like this week, there are good variety of champs, i personally am looking forward to be playing as wukong or skarner or miss Fortune
