Okay this is off topic but it bugs the hell outta me

PROC IS AN ACRONYM

Programmed Random OCcurrance

Vi's W is not a proc. It is a guaranteed thing that happens after 3 successful hits. Only random or semi-random things are procs, such as the slow from Phage.

Please stop misusing this term.

So Riot, why does Vi's passive says it grants 10% of her maximum health as a shield, but in reality is less?

Technically her W is not guaranteed. She could get kited or CC'd. Most people wouldn't want you to get your W off, and attempt to not give it to you. While it's not necessarily random, the occurrence of it happening is also not guaranteed. Far as I know, it's not incorrect to say it 'procs'.

It's not a proc. It has an activation condition but it is not a proc. It is only reliant upon you landing three blows in a row. A proc is a percentile chance and may not activate at all after multiple hits, or may activate on the first hit.

It is incorrect to say it procs. It pops. It activates. It ignites. It does not proc.

Kiting/CCing someone does not turn their abilities into programmed random occurrences.

Missing one Q in lane is definitely not going to directly result in you dying. Especially because worst case scenario you can just E for shield and walk away.

Thats like saying if riven jumps in with Q at level 3 and misses she will die 100%

Yea, you will lose the trade, but one loss trade =/= death/loselane/snowball
