Their entire comp falls apart the moment you just hard-rush them with someone like Malphite.

If you let a poke comp successfully poke you, you're fighting on their terms. And that's gonna end poorly!

Maybe your team should have counterpicked with a heavy engage and sticking power teamcomp? Like, Ali, Naut, Leona, Nocturne, Malphite, champs like those.

It's called Zone control, or "Zone" for short.
By placing walls, ice fields, and hard stuns, I can take command of a part of the battlefield.

That includes the enemy's turret, or our own.

Some other champs are also capable of "Zone" ... try them out the next time you are getting poked to death.

Don't forget Orianna. Nid+Ori combo has always been insane.

We would like to remind you that poke comps are built of 3 things:
- Range advantage
- Maneuvering advantage
- Escapes

Remove 2 of these (or in my case, all 3) and the poke comp is defeated.
