Don't be discouraged, GP can play literally every role and has a ton of build options. He has great utility, but his damage and tankiness has been nerfed a ton.

its really sad to look at how far GP has fallen.

every ability nerfed to death and itemization destroyed, he has literally nothing left.

It really isn't because they gutted the gold gain on his Q.

I remember the Original Gangplank as well, he was absolutely amazing. Able to deny a minion and give himself a HUGE boost in a lane. Mageplank being viable... Twas a sad day indeed when they gutted him to what he is now...

I did too, I know how you feel.

RIOT has dropped the ball on 50% of the champ pool (yknow all the champs hardly or never picked in a serious event?).

It's bothersome, but you gotta deal....

Have a problem with gold gain?

Use 9,0,21 and gold runes, take Pickpocket, too.

Grab mana regen or mana for laning, keep Qing the other solo top. Pickpocket gives you the 5 gold for it every time you do so. If you do it every time it's off CD, that equals to having two GP/10 items ticking.

Let the farming begin.

.................and what exactly prevents the enemy top from just killing you? i sure wouldnt just eat harass from a GP with no defense masteries.

Yeah kinda depressed, my two favorite champs Nassus and GP are pretty blah nowadays.

I think the issue is that GP is kinda squishy compared to pretty much every top. I'm not the most experienced player sure, but it feels wierd seeing my Parlay berrily phasing that Garen/Darius/Jax/Riven/Cho/Jayce/etc and seeing him being only able to trade after blowing most of your mana on Parrlay pokes.


I dunno what he needs really, no expert, but he could really use something.
