I main Support. I first started because nobody else wanted to, but then I got to like it.

I like support if I feel my adc is going to be aware and decent. Otherwise I hate support most times. I have played a wide variety of characters in support and sometimes you get ppl that just dont understand how your character works and shut themselves down before the game has begun and just dont care because you are not the support they think you should be. ex: I pick fidd or rammus as support, they complain stating they are not support and go afk or feed.

OP do u play as support?

I main support as Nami and Lux, and I love it. You certainly don't have to fight for the position when playing, but it does get annoying with over extending ADC's or ones that think they can run straight in to every encounter.

Yea I was mainly talking about the more seriously taken ranked games, where Alistar and Blitzcrank are always banned, which actually brings up another issue where if there are characters there are CONSISTENTLY banned in ranked games, they are probably broken in some way. I also think Blitzcrank is fun to play regardless of what role you are.

Sorry sir, I'd have to disagree, because even though the sightstone item seemed like a good idea to try and save money, I feel like its become a burden for supports because its now ANOTHER must have item that you MUST build or else you are not doing your role as a support. So on top of all the GP5 items you need to get out of the way, you now also need to buy sightstone, and by the time you've gotten money to get all that, its already mid game. So, what can the support do then with only GP5 items and sightstone other than ward.
