Elise,
So these spiderlings are that expendable to you? I'd think the Spider Queen would respect the lives of her subjects enough to not send them to their deaths every 12 seconds, especially when she would not need to considering her own power.
...I'll see you on the Fields of Justice.
~ Poppy, the Iron Ambassador.

She snickers at the response, leaning comfortably back in her throne. She starts to work on a response as a spiderling came down beside her from it's web.
"Try to look at it the spiders way: a common spider may lay one-hundred eggs at once, each hatching beautiful little babies, a large portion of which will then go on to lay hundreds of eggs when they reach maturity of their own. Now... that's just the 'COMMON' spider, just think of what MY spiders can do..." She snickered once more, her writing coming to a stop.
She put her pen down and crumbled up the paper, dropping it to her side. "Oh I'll let her have the final word, no need to continue this little affair after she had ended it... it will only make things more interesting when she meets my spiderlings on the battlefield, don't you agree?" She brought her gaze upon the spiderling resting on the arm of her throne. It stared back. No reaction.

"Wait a minute I thought..... Oh..."
He re reads the article.
"Ok, I get it now... Ahem, sorry for that umm, incident. Since I'm here Spider Queen, I ask what kind of connection do you have to your magic and your spiders?"
Mack pulls out a bottle of his home made Life Giver Brew, uncorks and spits it out and starts to drink.

She eyes him with curiosity, his initial running and shouting causing her spiders to skitter back into their webs.
"My connection is a gift from the spider. It gives me my power and my strength. Ever since I embraced this gift, the spiders of the Isles have grown attracted to me, and I welcome their attraction."

Hello, Elise.
I know I'm awesome, try to control your base desires. I mean, sure, we can have a go, but at least buy me a drink, first. Anyway, to business. I have an arrangement I'd like to discuss with you.
There is bounty upon bounty here in Bilgewater that asks for the pirates to be hauled in alive. That's fine, whatever, but after these people get out or escape, they just don't seem to get it. They do worse and worse things, and I'm done playing with them. Apparently, being shot isn't enough of a deterrent, so, let's talk, hmm?
When I catch a particularly thiefy, murdery, rapey pirate, we can talk about a neutral, secluded location. I'll leave him there, you'll know of it, and whatever happens, happens. And in return? Well I dunno. Would be nice if you actually used currency. What could you offer me for a little free immortality and a cleaner Bilgewater?

This letter had certainly caught Elise off-guard. Nevertheless, a smirk remained on her face as she wrote up a response.
"I like the way you think, Miss Fortune. Personally I would prefer my prey to be a lot less on the 'resisting' side, but seeing how I've had to improvise lately due to my reveal amongst the general populace, I believe we can get along just wonderfully."

Diana would raise a brow at her sudden enthusiasm.
There won't be anymore required right now dear, I just came to visit our new Queen of the fields once again... But I shall indeed let you know if I require yet another commission.
Alas, would there be a way for you to help me advertise the Lunari a bit? You have a-lot of pull between the commoners & and joining the League helped greatly.... She would then notion to several now arriving common-folk who have walked and finally reached the innermost caverns of the cave. I passed them on my way inside, they looked at me as if I was crazy walking in without a single care, but alas the shadow isles do creep people out.
Diana would then lean against the wall, awaiting her response.

Elise's red eyes pierced their way through the darkness as she scanned the group of commoners, re-adjusting herself.
"Are you asking me to... promote you, and your actions?"

The spiderling had come to complete stop. It stared up at Sona, but it was hard to tell if it's black, cold eyes were staring out of fear, curiosity, or hunger.
Elise watched on, amused by Sona's reaction. "I hope you don't mind 'creepy-crawlies', my dear. Seems you have gained the attention of this one."
