he has a snare thet cant be missed, a huge burst that he can keep using do to non existant cooldowns, AND, I, like most normal people, can farm with auto attacks alone, but if you insist on using skills, youll find his Q does quite well

now he isnt overpowered, but against someone with low mobility, hes a real hassle
you just pawned him off like hes karma, when hes actually fantastic in the right hands, i like skillshots and mobility myself, but i play him on occasion, if you can get the first blue (like no jungler game) first blood comes so easy, snare/q/snare/q/snare/q ignite

Because he can end up doing just as much damage as a veigar with no CDS?

Ryze is really easy to play because he doesn't have to aim. He also gets to spam spells nonstop, become tanky, and never run out of mana. His medium range and lack of a pure-burst ultimate keeps him in check.
