I like the egg thing better when it's with udon. Ramen noodles always make the egg bits small and annoying.

Yes, this!

The egg was super tiny and just imparted a weird texture.

Right? Plus, if you're using chopsticks and you don't like drinking the broth, it renders the egg utterly pointless.
