As someone who assists with billing inquiries and chargebacks at my job (where we handle credit card, PayPal, home phone, mobile, etc as payment methods) it costs next to nothing to "fight" a charge back. The only cost is the time of the person handling the charge back inquiry, which typically can take anywhere from ten minutes to an hour (assuming it isn't some stupidly extravagant case).

If you assume that the typical CSR earns somewhere between $12-$18, it would cost the company, at most, $18 in someone's time to handle, which with a company like Riot is negligible.

In short, it costs a company nothing to dispute a chargeback.

I sent an email to them like 20 hours ago, still waiting for a response.
