I am just confused why it's taking so long for me to obtain a teamwork crest. I have about 163 points and have in various times gained them in secession. I'd be patient with it but i'm reading that people got them in with only 40 to 60 points only. what am I doing wrong?

Basically you have to be in the top X% of players on a per game basis. The raw number doesn't matter, it depends on your average honor per game over time. Also, Lyte has implied that the ribbons (other than red) each require a combination of honor types to unlock.

Green Ribbon Crest is friendly/teamwork honor
Yellow is helpful/teamwork
Blue is helpful/friendly
