now, rengar is still considerably underperforming, so i think a rebaloance for him is in order

return him to bruiser base stats [not armor and MR] (he will no longer havestealth, and he is losing all dmaage on W)

change his Q, remove the base damage, but improve the scaling of it to 1.5 total ad base effect, and the ferocity version to 3.0

change his W to deal no damage but increase the defensive steroid by 100%


his E would get a decent change to this

root the target for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds

ferocity version roots the target for 2 seconds (even at level one for the ability) and durring that time rengar can jump the target as if he had he was inside of brush (it gives the effected target the circle rengar has while in brush, and he can jumpat them when close enough), pouncing the target will freethem from the root effect (but now rengar is in their face)

now this was a tricky one to think of, but i think i got an idea that makes his ult good, and fits his character design

rengar becomes the ultimate predator, making him able to pounce targets by will regardless of being hidden (or the new E) and increasing his movement speed

basically it would work like this

1. rengar no longer has stealth

2. rengar gains 10/20/30 movement speed and is immune to snare effects (roots, stuns, exc. still work, just not slows) for 8 seconds

3. rengar can reactivate this ability 3 times to gain unseen predator for 2 seconds [consumed on jump] with each activation (meaning he has 3 jumps of his passive outside of brush with using his ult active)

removing damage on his W would hurt his jungle and seems too much like Garens W

I think stealth with his ult is really good it allows you to go behind enemy lines without stealth its will become more difficult to execute

I think his ult needs a slight buff increase the speed that ferocity gains i think 7 seconds when in combat is a bit much i think reducing it to 5 would be ok

but yeah the only way i can see people playing rengar is like an ADC which against some team comps works really well

Im sorry but im against this completely, i have to be honest this is a really stupid idea, the problem with Rengar is basically his damage is just way to low, recently had a game where a Xin Zhao was 300 hp, i ult and run up to him which then i simply unloaded my entire kit on him, he escaped with about 50 hp, i had 175 AD at the time, shouldve been a 2 hit kill but i had to R, E, W, Q which didnt do anything, whats even worse is i has rooted him with my E and then E again to slow, his damage output is just horrible and some things like his Q and E need to be fixed up a little, would be nice if his Q was more like a Kha'Zix Q(not exactly the same obviously but similar).

I think he has just been nerfed to hard the kha,zix vs rengar is just not even close kha,zix will win unless u are very fed or thornmail he q is ok but it could be better and his damage on his w and e is just WEAK the snare is barley and second and rengar cant counter anyone because of his weak damage out put i understand how crazy rengar WAS but this nerf was just to hard

thats why i want damage returned to his Q, it makes his ferocity use a real choice if W does no damage, but a fQ should reck someone, W is sustain, and E is utility + gap closer would amke it a good choice between mowing them down, or being tactful

also, i proposed the ult change, because his current ult is not an ult, its trash, if they want to make it so ithas a seperate use in combat fine, but the current use is bad, hands down bad in combaty because you have to stop all action for 3 seconds, and by then a rengar in the fray will be dead, its a good initiator, but other than that, its very poor and lack luster

so, early gank, you are assuming rengar is jungle, when in fact his jungle is considerably bad, and so is his laning ability

what rengar really needs is more damageand his ults delay removed, but seeing as the fine line of balanced damage and op will always leave rengar lacking due to the childish QQs of these forum goers and anyone that isnt a free kill for them and their favorit champion is op, but of corse this is not true

also as laning rengar i was top vs a riven, got 2 kills early on with her 0, and beat her in creep farm as well, she still trashed me at about level 8, with me ahead in kills, CS, and level (i was level 10, she was 7 or 8), and procseeded to snowball the hole time, why? rengars ult is trash in a fight, sure its great for initiation of ganks, but in the middle of a fight its utter trash, because 3 seconds of having to not attack anyone, oruseany other abilities, to get a stealth for ferocity is horrable

a good idea for his ult is this

make it have 2 seperate functions

funtion 1, out ofcombat, is what it is now, but maybe put it to a 10 sec duration, and the stealth is instant, because he is not in a fight to use this version, its a gank tool

function 2, in combat use
rengar gains 15/25/35 armor penetration and gains 20/30/40% movement speed for 8 seconds, rengar can reactivate this ability to gain his passive for 2 seconds up to two times durring this effect but after the second use this effect will end

and give his Q better scaling, like 1.25 with ferocity at 2.5, and he will be golden without op status

but rengar still needs work thats the point of this thread

EThat's not a rework. You'd kill him. Especially his ulti. Rengar is an assasin. He's supposed to be invisible to kill the ADC. Remove that aspect he's useless. He doesn't have his ult changed at all
