The title says it. I've heard on the PBE that they are currently nerfing olaf and i just wanna know why because hes and at an average win rate percentage and there are other champs that are doing better then him IMO.

I find him a tad bit too strong with Warmog's. This is just from playing 2 games with him, so my opinion probably wouldn't count.

Really. I can run in there, tank everything, kill, and get out better than a fed Xin Zhao.

I agree with Aroph, with the right items Olaf is just too strong.

He can ult, run straight to the enemy carry without getting cc'd, mow them down, then join the rest of the fight and lifesteal back to full. Getting damage while running at the ADC just makes him rape them faster.

Stack health, deal true damage on a short cool down.
Sustain in lane.
No need to build AS, gets stronger as 1v1 fight progresses cause passive.
Perma slow and easy harass in form of Q.
Ultra trololo cult makes him unstoppable, like alistar's cult but he deals tons of damage.

I hope they nerf either him OR health items (Warmong's). Nerfing both would be devastating to a really cool champion. But I agree he's a bit too strong atm.

The trouble is, he can be built almost pure tank with one damage item, and outdamage that Jax with 3 damage items endgame. He gets to be very stompy very fast if he gets farm or even just 1 kill in lane.

If your passive is becoming an important part of the fight, you're doing it wrong. Your primary source of damage is Q and E.

What are the nerfs on, anyways? If they reduce his true-damage-on-a-stick, he becomes unviable lategame without a whole build rework. And I found one that I like, finally.

Yesterday i played against olaf with udyr, as much as i know that champion, i knew he was going to tear apart my with true damage. Poke tiger, run in bear, switch turtle when needed to heal. At minute 20 i was 9/1/7 and took the top turret, but since all the other lanes couldnt defend their lanes they just snowballed and we lost the game
Olaf early game is not bad, but its not OP either, even when using his ultimate

I don't think Olaf is OP although I've only played him like 20 times or so this season. Unless I've been doing it wrong the whole time, he seems to be like a lot of other champions where if you are successful and build a set of items that suit the situation he wrecks people. Is this nerf coming because too many people are doing well with him, because I haven't seen any complaints in the community for a nerf this season 0.o
