Except the vast majority of people posting their reform cards absolutely deserved their punishment. And yet you can combine both those people, borderline cases, and all else and it still only accounts for a very small % of the total league community.

So, no. People can "feel" what they want. Doesn't make it so.

You are correct, unless the tribunal in all its glory does the normal lemmings review....

This is one of the small case %'s that did not earn a ban compared to the majority of the cases waiting for the hippocratic tribunal to vote on.

I have already admitted my flaws, changed my attitude and the way I handled situations in games. There is no cussing, no flaming of my team mates... now it comes down to simple "ribbing" in /all that a participant took part of, and get a week ban.

But yet with the broken system said offended participant that cussed and rage quit gets off?

If this is true, then it's time to consider the common factor. I don't mean this to me insulting or disrespectful, but if every game you play warrants such excessive reporting it's time to take a step back and consider if your own actions tend to ignite, elevate or otherwise make a situation go bad. Take a look at your Tribunal case and try to think of other things you could have instead said to help diffuse a situation before it got out of hand.

B-The reports do not allow you to take action against any other person OTHER than the one that is being reported- yeah that is disturbing.
The reason for this is because those other individuals very likely have their own Tribunal cases out there somewhere, with Tribunal participants judging them on their own actions alone as well. Just because -you're- not deciding their fate doesn't mean someone else isn't.

C-This is hardly a drop in the bucket compared to the majority of the reports that are sitting in the tribunal, which I am a part of and have a 89% correct rating.
It's important to remember that harassment or otherwise antagonistic behavior is still harassment regardless of whether or not "Adult" language is used. It doesn't matter whether or not the content of your judgement contains profanity if the basic message you're sending still shows intent to belittle, hurt, inside or otherwise aggravate others.

I'm not sure how you can declare what he was saying was playful ribbing. Playful ribbing is like when I'm playing Garen and beating someone out of the bush while calling it "my home" or picking on someone for a fail flash. Not consistantly calling his enemies/teammates "bad". That's like saying, well I was only calling him pathetic in good fun...

This response just backs up my whole point, again there is no tools to see we joked about it after the match (about the bad quote), and yes you can justify playfull ribbing by actually reading the text. I even went as far as saying cussing was uncalled for. But I didnt sit there and fill out a report because it is what it was, simple ribbing.

There needs to be a line where thick skin comes into play, or the use of the ignore/mute button is this not what they are intended for? Or better yet lets just fill the tribunal full of these type of (in my opinion) fail reports. There are MUCH worse cases waiting to be looked into, than this.

Again the system is being used in the design its better not to communicate at all in fears of reports being generated. OR the fact that there will be a report generated anyway so you should just cut loose and really make it worth it?

confused~ I honestly thought this was not bad at all.

No, its being used to promote constructive in game dialogue. Insulting, ribbing, being negative to anyone in game does not accomplish this goal.

I understand you're confused, which is why you're posting here. Many of the individuals here have pointed out the problems, which you can choose to accept or ignore. A word of caution however - If you choose to ignore what you're being told and continue along this path, another suspension is certain somewhere down the line with a permaban also a possibility. You need to think carefully about the direction you take here lest you take another misstep.

My recommendation at this point is, if what none of us is really sinking in, is to show these chat logs to someone level-headed that you respect. This could be family, an adult you respect (if you're a minor), a close friend who you know will be honest with you. Perhaps if you get the opinion of someone who matters to you, you may be a bit more receptive of their advice.

So ... "you dont have anything positive to say then dont say anything at all?

"thank you for feeding the other team or AFK'ing and ruining the whole match, I am truly blessed to have been queued up with you!"

Report generated - sarcasm - tribunal mass aggree's punish/2 week ban.

Dont say anything in a bad match, just go with the flow -

Reported generated - refusing to communicate with the team - tribunal agree's/2 week ban.

Working as intended?

riot has stated that no one has been banned for failure to communicate.

also what is the need to say ""thank you for feeding the other team or AFK'ing and ruining the whole match, I am truly blessed to have been queued up with you!"

it accomplishes nothing. it does nothing except make the game even more negative.

From my time spent in the Tribunal, I can't say I've ever came up with a case where someone got reported for "Refusing to Communicate" because they never said anything. I'd imagine in the rare event where this happens and it's actually punished is by far even more unlikely. The arguement you presented there is a popular straw man arguement often used by players who are upset over being banned for verbal harassment; you should pay no attention to those reports.

You'll only get reported for refusal to communicate if you outright undermine team coordination by, say for example, spend the entire game killing jungle creeps and doing absolutely nothing else.
