This guy seriously discouraged swearing in a game. He knows the summoner's code. He is having fun in the game, he's not raging, he's just being a guy. He's being competitive and you guys punished him for it. Any of you could get more verbal abuse going to a football party than he gave out in that game. You all are too soft. Grow a pair and quit penalizing people like him for enjoying some competition.

No, I refuse to accept the fact that he was just "playfully ribbing". If you were just playfully ribbing other people would have joined in, or barring that people wouldn't have voiced offense. If you were playfully ribbing, you wouldn't have been consistantly complaining about your teammates and calling people bad in all chat. Just because you're trying to hide your guilt behind something that is stated in the Summoner's Code/FAQ doesn't make it so. Look, I have had playful ribbing, I've done some. If someone takes offense, you apologize. You don't call them bad again later in the match.

Look, you came onto this forum asking why we would punish. Not only have you spat in the face of us, you have "tried to undermine the legitimacy" of the Tribunal by calling us out saying we have an interpretation. Well... yes. We, the majority of the community, have a interpretation. And our interpretation doesn't allow people who call their teammates bad hide behind the "playful ribbing" clause. Playful ribbing does not involve direct insults, and repeated insults. Its clever, or funny, or intended to be playful, not insulting.

I mean you suck clearly basing off your cs and kdr but your right the tribunal is PG-13 and below. Children cant allow playful ribbing / other stuff that no other games would dare to punish a player for saying / doing. On WoW / hon / dota2 I can call people as garbage as I want and more without even being touched but in LoL they have the stupidest pyramid banning method I've ever seen. For example maybe my first and second ban I deserved but after that I get banned for saying gg 2ez (playful ribbing) and Its an automatic 2 week ban. Tribunal needs to allow people to vote on punishment deserved (duration bans etc) instead of this stupid pyramid and I think riot should suggest people be more lenient to punishing players but I doubt any of my suggestions will be heard because people are to arrogant and lets face it why should riot do anything when their game is so successful and appealing to little kids who decide the fate of tribunal. Not a day go's by where people are banned for little gestures said in game on league of legends that gets ignored every single day on every other single game. Its instinct to millions of people to talk like they talk and It is publicly acceptable anywhere else but in this game.
