So I went to open my League just like always, and it displayed the seal with "League of Legends" that it always does before it opens...

Then it went transparent and told me PVP.net Patcher Kernel is not responding. Gave me the option to wait, close, or look for help online. Tried all three, total bs. So i went looking on the forums for help... No dice.

I then completely uninstalled league, and went to redownload. No dice, cant download the game. Everytime i go to the download page and click the link to dl "leagueoflegends.exe" it says "connecting" forever and doesnt load... I found an old installer on a harddrive. ran it, downloaded and installed everything, still a PVP.net Patcher Kernel error.

So to sum up, have now reinstalled twice, uninstalled three times, spent over an hour trying to download the installer for a game i already have on file(because old one may be out of date? idk..), searched all over your pathetic pissweak excuse for "tech support forums" as well as wasted 5 minutes of my life typing this. almost 2 hrs in all. WELL DONE RIOT.

I'm having the exact same problem you described and so are two of my friends. There are small, maybe 10 minutes windows, where we can launch the patcher but what is not enough time to fully patch and we lose connection again.

I also tried re-installing the full client and found that I couldn't download form LoL's servers. Eventually I was able to use one of those small windows to download the setup file but the problem has persisted.

It sounds a lot like your ISP is having issues establishing a secure connection to LoL, and thereby being unable to properly connect. You might want to try this.

There are a few points I would like to raise in your thread. First, while I understand your frustration and wanting to play, using the type of language in your original post, and subsequently creating the picture in another post is not acceptable Forum Behavior. The Summoner's Code is in effect both on and off the Fields of Justice. I strongly suggest that you act accordingly, or you may face further disciplinary action on the Forums.

Additionally, please keep in mind that while this does not appear to be a widespread issue in which hundreds of thousands of Summoners are experiencing a similar issue in using our client. If almost all Summoners are currently loading and logging into the client correctly and without issue, then it would appear that the issue might exist locally on your computer or on your network.

Beyond this, in order to best investigate this issue, I strongly advise you to submit a new Support Ticket* to us and explain in detail all of the steps you have taken already so we may best investigate and troubleshoot with this issue with you. Okay now I can understand acidburn11's language may have been out of line(deservedly so) but what is "subsequently creating the picture in another post"? Acidburn11 seems to have created no "pictures". What "pictures" do you speak of? Creating the picture that your customer service to PAYING CUSTOMERS is bad?
