I just bought Fizz because he looked interesting.
So i tried him out and didnt do that bad...
but that was just beginners luck
cuz now i just feed
does anyone have some tips or tricks?
i play him as an ap assassin mid

The build looks fine but it all is dependent on teams you are playing. I recommend watching a few pro player live streams playing Fizz, possible youtube plays, and catching up on other summoners' input.

A general trick I use in mid lane is the "charge W, Q into the enemy, possibly hit them once or w/e, then E as an escape towards my turret" trick. But that can be rather basic and you have to watch for players that have CC. If someone wastes their bind/stun or misses I instantly do this to punish their health down before their timers come back. Or I luckily manage the Trickster to hop over their bind/stun. The object to win is to definitely last hit minions or get more gold in mid lane while burning the rivals mana down and having more mana (if they are mana based) than you do. Also let your jungler know if you are suffering or the rival's health is low as it can be a big help. communication = very important in team game.

Build looks fine, it really depends on how you are using skills, mainly your E(Playful/Trickster). I would use it more as an escape rather than a means of harassment and whatnot. One thing to do is try to poke down the enemy using your w and q and if they try to retaliate, just use your trollpole to return back to the minion line(I assume you dashing to the enemy will put you on his side of the map, since most people try to keep their distance). One of the only times I would advise using your trollpole offensively is for the kill.

Anywhosies, what do you build first and what do you level first when you play him?

I start with boots and 3 pots
then i get a doran ring
and then a sheen
lich bane, sorcerrer, then fisnish build in order listed
i get w first
then q and then e
i max w first, e second, and q last
(not counting ult)

Generally Fizz will always have a tough time in the lane while he patiently waits for Lvl 6. I suggest getting a flask along with a doran ring to bolster your sustain.

Communicate well with your jungler! Often junglers have great CC to pin the opponent down while Fizz gets a chance to abuse his absurd damage.

When I was new to fizz I watched a series of videos on youtube.com by "TheTrueYako". He shows several different match ups in the mid lane that you are sure to run into. He does a great job of explaining his thoughts and decisions throughout the game. I suggest checking him out. =)

oh also,... don't forget to activate your W before using your Q. <- very important.

FoxMindedGuy, you should play the champion before commenting about it. It's about matchups, and Fizz usually does well if you can minimize the harm that is inflicted on you. Usually if the enemy doesn't have flash when you hit 6(or if they are ahri), then there is a strong chance that you can kill them there.

He's mostly a guy that you need practice with, because just knowing the build isn't good enough with him as he isn't your typical AP mid.

the first thing u need to know is how to play in teamfights, u dont initiate, always wait for the other/s to atack and then go and take the kill .


now, from the beginning: start with W, try to last hit minions if u can, it will be really hard the first 3 levels, especially if the enemy is agressive. Once u reach lvl 3, W+Q the enemy and then use E to fall back. U can do that like 2 times and u will run ou tof mana, anyway the enemy will retreat a little so u will be able to farm better.
With doran rings (i always buy 2) u will not have mana problems, so start being moree agressive if u see that u can kill the enemy. If u can't, then just farm until lvl 6, once in lvl 6 if the enemy's health is 75% or lower, u can easily kill it with ur combo (W+Q+R+ignite+ E(if necessary) )

in my build i always buy rabbadon first, then lich bane (i tried only once lich bane first and i didnt like it, but many people does, so, do whatever u want)


ok thats how i play, i win mid lane like 85% of times. Fizz counters almost all the mages so dont give up to him, its a champion that requires a lot of practice.
