as someone who mained with MF for a long time now, I welcome this nerf. I tire of her being a FOTM and seeing her picked by the other team. As someone else said, her true strength lies in effective use of double up.

I don't mind her being FOTM, and the nerf didn't really bug me either. This was more to ascertain the thought process behind it - as we mostly agree thus far;

Her main damage output is Double Up/AAs and the like. I get the burst of her Ult in teamfights, but it requires so much timing and CC on your teams behalf, it really does lol
