It has been at least well over a year since Riot touched base with players upon the current state of Heimerdinger and with Morello stating that a rework/ remake was on the cards.

This is not a qq thread or a buff thread but simply asking Riot as to the current position Heimerdinger is taking in the future of LoL. He has major problems with his kit that just make him unviable within today's meta and also the strength of other champions. Riot has done a good job with other champions on the whole, but threads upon Heimerdinger have been closed without any further discussion upon the topic. Even a vague answer would be better than the silence that has been given. Yes, Heimerdinger got a GoL buff with his turrets, but their range still has issues and their independant ai is more changeable than my hormonal girlfriend.

I agree in the fact that I would at least like to know when they plan to re-work heimer even if its months down the road.

honestly, heimer is better than people think, he is for poke comps

I am not saying that you cannot win with him, I mained him levelling up to 30 and got a 60% win ratio. The major fact is that his rockets have the highest non-ultimate mana cost in the game, his grenade is the hardest skill-shot in the game, his turret ai and range is still lacklustre at best and his ultimate is useless unless your team knows how to fight with his turrets, and in the current meta, stationary fights are rare. He just does not fit, and other champions can do what he does but better unfortunately.
