Hmmmm, bet I'm going to jinx myself.... but wednesday, I installed the latest nvidia drivers, put back my settings to high (but still no shadows) and in the 5 bots game I played, no flickers! I just played a twisted treeline with real players and no flickers either... *crosses fingers*

It stopped for me after I went borderless on video settings; it'll freeze on loading into to matches every so often (it's go to the loading screen; it'll be stuck in the very corner of my monitor; I'll have to exit and reload the client sometimes multiple times to get it to load properly).

It still occurs on full screen for me, however.

Any news on a patch or something? I know they dont like to say anything unless they have a time line or something, but a little red love would ease peoples annoyance and anxiety lets us know you are still looking into it

I don't know that the next patch will fix it. I've had a support ticket with Riot about it and just a couple days ago they responded again with the "we're aware of it and working on it, no ETA" bit. Here's hoping, but don't be crazy disappointed if it doesn't happen yet.

On the plus side, with shadows off and settings on low I found I can play 1v1 proving grounds just fine haha. So DUELS!

I've played about 12 games so far with no glitches... I'm starting to think it's fixed on my side. Played 3 normals drafted and even a ranked today... no flickers!

Only thing that changed on my side is that I installed the latest nvidia drivers (those from feb 18th I think?). When I installed them, I chose to do a "Clean install" and didn't install the two 3D vision thingies. My graphic settings are Full Screen, high on everything, no shadows.

Full screen causes the flickers for me. Borderless does not. So, yes, there's still a bug in there.
