Quick garen guide:

item order:
boots 1 + 3 HP pots start
giant's belt
chainmail
sunfire cape
boots of swiftness
at this point if you fighting more physical, get another sunfire. if not, get force of nature. then get more sunfires.

playing as garen:
hide in bush
wait
wait

E

3 healing pots sounds a bit excessive. shouldn't you be able to hang for few a seconds go right back up to full health? wouldn't that also give you more money to spend for later.

35g is about one creep kill. 3 HP pots for maximum staying time. You don't want to B until you have at least enough for sunfire..
