Sometimes the numbers are really static when someone really slow is loading. I usually can't tell if that means my game is not responding (for which I'd need to restart the client immediately) or if someone is just really slow at loading. So it would be nice to add something that is guaranteed to animate at the VS screen to detect whether the game is frozen or not.

Also, as an aside, maybe make the "please reconnect to the game" message trigger always if you forcequit the client.
