like the title says, which do you prefer?

i usually play ap nidalee, cause it feels so awesome when you can land a good spear,
but i just tried ad nidalee and now i see why its so viable,
the cougar form Q's with a trinity force wreck face, oh my god XD
i went 10/0 first time as ad nid just now.

but if i can say one thing..
its that both ad and ap nidalee excel at catching people out, or by surprise.
ap nid just takes a bit more skill it seems (as the skillshot is very hard to land since you have to predict the enemies movement)

I haven't really gotten a handle on AD Nidalee yet, but I do seem to wreck with AP Nidalee a fair amount. If you're good with the spear it can be a very effective build on her. But you need to pressure them as hard as you can mid game. I tend to buy a LOT of wards as AP Nidalee (whether mid or top, though I prefer mid for the roaming potential early-mid game), and get that hat early for maximum spear damage.

AD Nidalee > AP Nidalee for S3. AP Nidalee > AD Nidalee for S2

With the way they changed Tear stacks, Deathcap nerf, %pen before flat pen, now I can't build CD boots and rely on void staff for all of my penetration needs. Now I can't stack tear as fast, blah blah. The new QSS upgrade makes it more appealing for ADC's and Bruisers. The new Aegis upgrade on top of this makes the squishies less squishy. Since runic bulwark and the rework of how pen is calculated, and AP nerfs, I haven't ever 1 hit an AD/APC with a max range spear, even if they hit a trap. In S2 when people would build really squishy, they didn't get alot of MR elsewhere, but now AP nid's spears can be sustained through more easily I quit playing her. Weak Laning, Weak Late game now that i can't hyper-carry, Lower Mobility, Less Pushing Potential. It's just all so stupid. I don't want to build sorc boots to be viable. AD Nidalee has always been better, only reason(mostly) why people go AP is to just spam spears cause they are noobs.
