so i was in the playoff in tier 1 bronze and i lost the first match, no big deal, and then i went on the next day nad won three straight, after that third match i get a thing that pops up and states that i am now qualified to compete to go to the next tier and when i check i have no wins or loses for the playoff to get to silver tier 5. just want to know why this is. just want to get to silver and continue to play without having the fear of what i do is for nothing.

It took you those three wins to get to 100 LP. Now you need to win 3/5 to advance to silver.
