Has anyone ever noticed the rappel glitch on Elise or is it just me?

Maybe 1/5th of the time it feels like it does this but after my attack speed and bite are on cooldown i rappel up and wait for the cooldowns to refresh and prevent some damage to me. However, sometimes i immediately rappel downwards on the champion when i havent clicked any buttons or click of the mouse.

I dont think this is from lag with frantically pressing e to rappel, because i have a very good internet connection.

anyone else experience something similiar?

I am led to understand that if you cast Rappel and click on a target when casting the first time it will just up and then straight back down onto the target, while targetting ground with it makes Elise just go up. Perhaps you're accidently clicking a target rather than ground while casting?
