So I'm only level 15, still a noob, but I feel like every game I play I'm matched with people who are much more experienced than I who are playing on a nerfed account. So it ends up with me basically being trolled about my noobiness and sucking most of the time. Am I just really bad at LoL or is there a lot of these nerfed accounts started by people who have been banned or just want to feel good about themselves? Is there even a way to prevent an unbalanced matchmaking system like this?
Since I seem to be competing with higher level players more often than not I feel like I'm not getting any better, and it's making me much less motivated to play. I think it would be very beneficial to all new players to be playing against those of their own skill level, and not just summoner level.

I know this might sound a bit daunting but one you reach lev 30 it will level its self out a bit. On a positive note however by always playing people better than you in lane you will improve a lot faster than if you just stomped your lane every time. hang in there it gets better

The best advice I can give you is this: Be happy that you are playing with better players. Although they may be tough games or even not enjoyable at times, playing with better players forces you to do better, making you a better player.

This game is free so it isn't uncommon to have a plethora of smurfs in each and every game you play. Sometimes you may not notice it, but they are more than likely there.

Just hold your head high. Don't get discouraged. Ignore the trolls. Be your own player and play the way you want.

I recently made a smurf account just to play with someone else who was about level 5, and it seemed like the enemy team had at least 3 people who were on my skill level (I'm level 30 on my main). I know it's difficult, but it certainly is making you better. Just stick in there and don't listen to them.

You also have to realize that Riot would fix this problem if there was a solution, but the only way to do that is to make League of Legends cost money. This is one of the problems that comes with a free game, just try to improve. Like MTDM said, it gets better.
