"So have you tried to bring sense to her?" Sam asked, intrigued by her story, "Or perhaps thought even for a second she may be right? I mean, I don't want to sound like you're completely wrong, but what if...the other angels weren't exactly fair to her as they were to you."

Kayle shook her head,

"No, not like the cops of your world," she sat back down before continuing, "there were those that I deemed 'beyond redemption', so they were purged." She spoke that last word with slight emphasis to hopefully make them understand what she meant, "It was clearly not a pretty sight as you could imagine. But someone had to do it."

Hearing Sam, Kayle again, shook her head,

"It isn't easy to bring sense to someone who is either stubborn, or has seen or experienced things that one has not. I have not seen nor experienced what she has, but it has clearly convinced her that I am the true tyrant here. Maybe if I had seen and or experienced it myself, maybe it would easier to reason with Morgana or at least talk to her without both of us trying to kill each other upon sight."

In one swift motion, Kayle grabbed the letter, burned it with her holy fire, and sent it into the trash bin. Pushing herself away from the desk, she sighed,

"That's enough of that for today..." Turning on her heel, she made her way past a door, leading to her private quarters, and slamming it shut.
