Hi. I am a developer at lolsummoners.com and we have actually been building a replay database system for our website in which we hope to allow users to share their replays.
I have a few questions that I would love to get answered if possible. If not comfortable answering on these forums please feel free to message me at admin [at] lolsummoners [dot] com. I also have been in touch with David P. about some other things if you wish to feed the information through him instead.
I just logged into my desktop (remotely) and attempted to watch a replay on someone's profile. It loaded the game and began showing the replay. I quit the game after about 30 seconds because it just doesn't work smoothly over remote access and wanted to see if the replay was now saved in my replay section. It does not appear to be. How long does someone have to view a game for it to be saved in their replay folder section?
Second I noticed there was no information being transferred via the air client. Does the replay system use a similar retrieval system to the spectator system? Or is it completely identical? Would it be possible to get some more technical details on this?
Another question being how can people disable spectator/replay games in solo queue ranked or what not? We could in theory just rip every possible replay from your system, but I don't think we would ever want to go about this route, and rather just let people upload replays that want to. Especially when it comes to the pro season and people not wanting to give other teams information if at all possible.
That's all I can think about for now, but I am sure I will have more questions in the near future
Thanks
