Final Fantasy Crisis Core (just the end of the game really).

More recent video games? hrmmm... none really come to mind as absolutely mind blowing. Games really haven't made me invest much in them in recent years. Bioshock, Modern warfare, and Black ops force a sense of rage in you a bit, but nothing really on a heart wrenching scale.

Heavy Rain was pretty good... Shy of amazing though. What consoles do you own, or are you a PC gamer?

Metal Gear Solid

The original Deus Ex. Psychologically, it ****s with your head. I'd recommend not reading anything at all about what happens during the story.

Also of special note, Thief: The Dark Project. There is a twist, I'm not going to tell you where, or when, or what happens, but it is one of those "OMFG, WTF is happening!" Seriously clenching to watch.

Killer7 will invoke an emotional response, but it may or may not be a meaningful one. The story is about insanity. The visual and acoustic feedback is superb.

PS2, and Gamecube.

Bastion. Just..... Bastion....

Modern Warefare 2, man when sheppard blows the **** out of Roach and Ghost, the feels man, the feels.

Then when soap gets ****ed up at the end, watching Price and Sheppard fight is too epic.

Modern Warefare 3 fell way short of expectations imo.

And maybe Black ops also.

Other than that, MGS.
