So, I was browsing the forums when I saw a post by a red named Ezreal (Explorer Ezreal) was pinned. I looked at it and saw it was just the teaser stuff for AA Battery (Aatrox).

So, I was looking at the comments when suddenly the conversation wasn't about AA, but about Lux. Someone finally posted the original picture.

Now, I was never a fan of Ezreal x Taric. I'm not one who dosen't like gays or find it weird, its just that it never sat right to me. I always head canon'd Lux and Ezreal cause... well... they look like the perfect couple, and they fit together as well.

Ezreal is serious and can be dull, Lux kinda lightens his mood. I feel like its a good fit and they benefit each other in some way.

I am a huge fan of this.

(Just a side note, I'm sorry Ezreal, your my favorite ADC and we will always be bros, but this had to see the light of day so all could enjoy.)

There has already been a ton of discussion on this topic. If you just check down about a page or two you'll probably find the third image was even shown in one of them.

Also Lux only seems somewhat lighthearted on the surface. There's a lot more to her background than her lines, including brainwashing and being forced into her role. There's a difference between being sunny and manic.

I'm really NOT a fan of Lux + Ezreal since I don't think they have enough synergy personality wise to actually be a lasting couple. It's my opinion though a lot of people do simply look only at the surface, so I'm not surprised.

I'm pretty sure Riot is attempting to scare off the lore fans with all of these shipping threads that are dead wrong about everything. That way when they screw up the lore even further no one will care.

Um... while I agree to an extent (although given the minimal level of character development that's occurred since the discontinuation of the JoJ and Judgements I'm not really one for shipping in League anymore), you've kind of got the characterizations a bit... off. Ez is anything but dull, he's the cocky, thrill seeking young Indiana Jones of Runeterra, and Lux is a Stepford Smiler who's implied to be nine kinds of crazy.

My analysis is that Ez is probably a pretty talented artist (bear in mind he got his start as an archeologist by producing high enough quality maps that the city of Piltover straight up bought them, he has to have some artistic talent) and may have a crush on her, although I have little to back that up. If there were smaller lore stories still being released and by god I wish they would I could actually imagine a followup to Lux's Judgement where she took a leave of absence (or went AWOL) from the Demacian military in order to find herself by having adventures with Ezreal.
