Scientists discovered blood vessels, red blood cells, proteins, and fat tissues in the cross section of the femur of a T. Rex. This is truly mind blowing, because if dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago, how could such fine details be preserved for such a long period of time without destruction? It' would be completely plausible if they could revive a T. Rex using some the DNA left over in these soft tissue.

Wasn't that the one were they then tested and found the DNA had decayed beyond repair and they worked out DNA has a 1/2 life?

Dinosaurs never left, they just evolved into birds.

And finding some soft tissue and DNA is a long way from making an organism, although I'm all for sequencing ancient DNA just to see what the hell it comes up with.
