Sounds like YOU'RE the one being an ass.

League of Legends, like all modern online games, uses practically next-to-nothing in terms of bandwidth.

Meanwhile his roommate is easily hogging 80% to 95% of the bandwidth with data transfer that could be placed at a lower priority with a router that allows for Quality of Service settings.

Also stop talking and offering advice on things which you clearly know nothing about.

To him it's not "crappy" anime, but I understand where you're coming from. If you access your router settings you can make games come first before torrenting. Also, you can ask him to try and put a limit on what he downloads.

My brothers have that problem with there roomate always on Netflix and downloading **** on computer. They directly connect to the router. If it's a dorm than your screwed. The library is probably better.

I play league at the computer lab in the commons of the college between classes sometimes (when i have 1 hour breaks and such), and it's really funny because when I play I have like 50 ping and then when someone starts watching YouTube it jumps to like 200. However, it's usually YouTube on educational instruction and it IS the college, so i don't complain, but it's still funny...

People are so angry. I'm sorry you're poor?

The fact that he has a room mate is enough to show that they don't have good internet access. Likewise, if he can't run LoL (which as you stated, doesn't use a lot of bandwidth *chuckle*), then it shouldn't be a problem. Cute, though. Time Warner Cable op.
