So, I was so happy today when I loaded up LoL today. I was pumped and ready to play my very first promotion game. I had hoped for a good start of my run to the Gold tier, but was quickly ruined. 3 players simultaneously DC'd at 2:30, right at the start of the game. I as maokai was forced to mid against their support and camping jungler. Needless to say, we lost. During the game, even the opposing team mentioned how they felt bad for beating us because it wasn't our fault. We played as hard as we could but could not handle a 3v4. No matter in this awful situation, one team HAD to win, one team HAD to lose, (we didn't even get loss forgiven when it was on Riot side) Anyways I digress.

IMPORTANT POINT: Can we set up a system to allow both team to do a group vote on if they could draw the game, or loss forgive the game? It would help build comminuty in LoL as we understand that we are working together to produce good quality competitive games. I had to take an X on my promotion list by people that didn't even see it fair. The voting would have to be almost unanimous I understand, but I think it would be used a lot.

Discussion go, the more comments, the more riot might actually look at this.

It would be nice for players to be able to have the power to essentially cancel out a game if it's really unfair.

I'm not sure how many people would vote in accordance with a draw, but I do like the idea of having losses forgiven. I have taken many defeats because of AFKer's or DC'ers.

This is a great idea except I don't think humans should be able to control it but the LeaverBuster as it can be abused. As soon as it detects 1 member AFK then it should automatically either take it into account (eg. 3 times and you get points back) or disregard match results and put a marker on the match history saying why.

There is the equalize feature which is currently on pbe. The team that is ahead in levels and probably gold can vote to give the other team gold and exp. This a possible solution.
