Well, I don't downvote Red posts as easily as others even when I don't upvote, and I'm probably not the only one. So just from that, Red posts will tend to have higher positive totals.

Their was a red post I remember earlier today that had 230 DOWNVOTES. Something about the ranking system I believe. Figures that the only time a red post goes negative is about something we all hate lol.

Reds usually get an 'ooh, a red! *upvote*' response from me, but if I disagree with what they're saying I'll downvote them as fast as I'll downvote any poster.

Come to think of it, it's probably as much because they usually say informative/entertaining stuff as anything.

I think its because everyone read red posts. When the community don't like red comments, they have like -870. There should be another valuation formula for red posts
