It's actually a grown-up art of an Avatar character. Just looked nearly perfect for him. =)

Honestly, this story is quite nice. It gives Ovela a robust character, and it doesn't seem to have any glaring inconsistencies. There is one thing that could be improved however. It's rather nit-picky, but your story doesn't have any other flaws so I have to talk about this one.
You used the term "Oasis" to describe a body of water on the beach. From what I understand, Oasis's are primarily found in desert environments. I know beaches are made of sand, and so are deserts, but I still find myself befuddled. It's like imagining a forest on a mountaintop. Perhaps i'm just overly analytical of this.

Perhaps the word "Cove" would be a better choice? But thank you! I do like to think of myself as a fairly decent storyteller, even if I do seem to rush and over use words. =P

I did remove the "Assassin" tag to more identify him as a Fighter/Hybrid Bruiser. Because of his ultimate initiation and the kit as a whole constructed to be up in their face and even a counter-fighter, if you will, with his [W] but I'll get more into that later.

While he is Ionian I felt he could utilize a similar ability but with a bit of a difference. As it may be weaker it is more or less consistent as it is based off of Max Health rather than their current health. The function, that I kinda glossed over in the notes, is to quickly move around a high health tank moving to initiate while stunning him to keep him from your team and counter initiate with Ovela's other skills once around him. OR move around behind a lower health champion cutting off their retreat while slowing them. Utility, utility and utility. =)

Secondly, how is the ability aimed? If it triggers directly upon taking a basic attack, you wouldn't have the time to manually aim it. I can only assume it strikes out in the direction of the enemy who triggers the ability with an attack.

Think of the reactivation as more of a cancel rather than a skill use.
The ability is aimed with the mouse. It will autotrigger upon taking a basic attack and Ovela will send the blade towards where ever your mouse is hovering like smart casting an ability.

I gotta admit, these abilities seem like they have some unique attribute to make them stand out. It definitely serves to make this ability more interesting.

Yes it is a one time use. The 3x damage is just to give a little counter play for stuns and knock backs to stop the ability although the 3 hits come fast so the enemies will have to anticipate it. Think of Warwick's ultimate hitting 5x but obviously this isn't a suppression.
I'm glad you like them! =D

Thank you. Did wanna give him a solid gap closer and looking at his kit his ultimate seemed like the most logical place.

I'll be keeping an eye out for this one as it develops. You've done some good work here, and I hope my review has helped you out.

Thank you so much Mytharionas! I'm really glad you enjoyed reading through Ovela. I look forward to your input if anything should change or get added. I also have a bunch of other original champions so feel free to check them out. Be sure to leave a champion for me to review of yours.

I have had Natalya opened in a tab of my browser for what seems like forever now. Working up to reviewing her, promise. =P
