I know I know that Tynd and Yi were played AP before season three but they were 1 trick ponies... I feel like the season 3 masteries are actually whats causing them to come into contention
I seems like it actually started with someone like Kayle who we all know can build anything but behaves like an AD champion with AP scaling just like Tynd and Yi... Perhaps even starting with Teemo who was nerfed immediately after season 3
