Watch the Champion Spotlight video on the Champion you wish to use
[Although some information is outdated, it will help you get a basic idea on how to play the champion]

Search youtube for "[Insert Champion Name Here] Guide", there should definitely be something for you to watch and learn. Try to make sure it's "S3" aka "Season 3" version. It's not the end of the world if it's not.

Mobafire and Solomid for rune and mastery guides. The author gives you a general description of why she or he chose those runes/masteries specifically.

Practice, Practice, Practice.

It says you haven't played any of those matches you said you did. In the past 5 days, you played Lux/Garen/Soraka/Gragas/Trundle, against no enemies. Were you testing builds? Those games went on for a long time (55+).

Some champions are just really natural with players others, not so much. It all depends on your play style.

I like ADC and sometimes APC but supporting is what I do better than the rest. My advice is to make sure you understand the mechanics and abilities of your champion, get used to pulling off combos and then start playing in normals.

AI only really helps you learn that. That environment and PVP are vastly different.
