It's probably OP, but here's some reality for ya.

Nothing will be changed until the next patch, which is weeks (months?) from now, so you have a few options.

Option 1:
Stop playing LoL til they fix it.

Option 2:
adapt to the changes and stfu already.

I'm so annoyed to hear teammates complaining about how ridiculous Cleanse is.

Option 3: use it yourself and then you wont complain when you find it useful

Complaining never helps. Constructive criticism, on the other hand, does.

You do realize patches are scheduled for once a week right? Riot has mentioned that cleanse could use a slight nerf as well.

Big content patch every other week. Last week was udyr + tryn/ryze remakes.
Small tweak patch in between (which is still every other week). Most likely it'll be scheduled for tonight.

Riot does like to delay its stuff though but they've been dealing with major changes. That is starting to die down and it feels like they've started to get on track again. If you check the week of champion rotations, Nidalee is set for next week. Which means that week is the "big content patch"

You act as if complaining and adapting are mutually exclusive or something. "Adapting" doesn't always fix the game.
