Just wondering why Bloodthirster doesn't have a unique passive buff. Just saw a Master Yi with zerk greaves, infinity edge, phantom dancer, and 3 bloodthirsters with almost 600 damage that can kill 5 people without taking damage. Immune to slows all the time cuz of his ult, the blind part of exhaust doesn't affect him cuz it is also a slow so he is completely immune to it, and if he gets stunned at all all he had to do was hit someone once, almost 1 shot them and get all his life back since he had so much lifesteal.

Just wondering why things like cooldown% reduction have caps but lifesteal doesn't.

Bloodthirster does have a cap and on death looses all of its stacks. its just god on yi b/c he can attack twice with one swing and is insainly fast. and if any toon is fed enough to afford 3 of an end game item like that yea their will be rivers of blood.

as for life steal caps im not sure about that but think about how hard the toon is hitting and when he crits he crits huge with inf edge so his life steal would be massive anyway b/c of the huge numbers he is generating.

I agree tho a master yi with life steal is really hard to kill on any squishy toons and is nearly impossible to cc.

Yes they do lose it upon death, but its not like its hard to go kill creeps with yi when you have like 450 damage without the stacks, you one shot everything and one kill = 3 damage you can easily rack up 40 kills in a matter of minutes. Besides the fact he never died, ever. No one could kill him. You can't stop a yi, you can't slow him down he chops everyone down gets his ult refreshed chops more down ult refreshed. When youve got like 75% lifesteal and you HIT for at least 500 non crit, your never going to die ever. and he had like 2.5 attack speed. What you going to do? any damage you do to him will instantly be restored by one attack.

In end game when melee has full gear, casters really dont stand a chance against them they are way too squishy and the only thing that could help is cooldown reduction and thats capped at a point where it still really doesn't help much. You take down 1/4 of their health then you gotta wait 8 seconds to do anything again while they are choppin you up screaming. They dont have any type of lifesteal either.

WTF how long did that game go for 3 hours!! Your mistake was letting him get them. Doesn't need a nerf learn 2 play.

^Even if Yi got infinity and bloodthirster and malady. Those three items make him invincible. Nearly. His ult + active Wuju Style allows him to do extra damage, with a 10% chance to x2 strike with no CD on it. You'd need to stun him and take his health from 100% to 0% DURING the stun or he will ult + wuju and rape every one of you.

It is not problem with lifesteal, it is just problem with master Yi. IMO His ultimate must be changed/nerfed. At least exhaust must blind him for duration, not just go cooldawn without any effect. I think his ultimate must ignored slowing part of debuff, not remove any debuff with slowing effect.

It is unbelievably rare to see a high level game go long enough for someone to get these types of items. If a game does in fact go this long, champs like yi can dish out lots of damage.

There is a problem however, this problem is called cleanse; champs that are not dependant on debuffs are benefting quite a bit from this skill. If you were able to stun/cc yi he would be much more reasonable in an extreme late game situation. As it is he can shrug off ccs then lifesteal through alot of damage.
