How is a ratio greater then 1 NOT positive?!

I thought you were a math instructor.

" A positive number (e.g., positive real number, positive rational number, positive integer) is one that is greater than zero"

I've never heard someone say 'my ratio was positive'.. I always say 'At least I was positive!'.

I never hear the word ratio there, people have always just talked about their net kills being a positive or negative number...

Sorry, I am mostly arguing about the "negative" aspect of it. I just find it funny that when people talk about their win-loss ratio, they always speak in terms of being greater than or less than 50%, which makes sense. However, when they talk about kill-death ratio, they all of a sudden revert back to a rudimentary understanding of math.

You are correct ZGBudai, all ratios are positive (or zero).

I agree. The technically correct terminology would be K-D is positive/negative or just K>D, K<D or K=D.

br0kn: what? -9/0 is dividing by zero anyway.
